Tri-City Action for Peace
Tri-City Action for Peace will hold an antiwar rally on January 18th at noon at the Saginaw courthouse in solidarity with the national antiwar march in Washington, DC that day. We will have speakers, drums, songs, signs, and leaflets to hand people. If you can't get to DC, please come to Saginaw. You can contact us at tcap@mutualaid.org. Please spread the word!

Local Efforts in Defense of the Bill of Rights
We support repeal of parts of the USA PATRIOT Act and Executive Orders that infringe on Constitutional rights. This web site documents and supports local efforts to restore civil liberties guaranteed by the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution, which have been threatened by the Act and Orders.

Welcome,

Your Help and Input is Needed!

Webmasters and writers are needed in your city who have an interest in a broad range of social and environmental issues, including, but not limited to air, land, water, food, human rights and dignity.

The We Are Michigan website is a statewide extension of a highly successful website in NW Michigan entitled We Are Traverse City.

One of the primary purposes of the website is to share news from a wider source including independent media, as well as community resources and events in one convenient place, and to provide an opportunity for a greater voice from the public in policy creation in your community.

If this website is going to be part of an effective outreach, education, and advocacy program, we need effective content. Please submit news stories from your community newspaper, links to helpful local websites, and know that your voice is always welcome to be heard if we are to have a participatory democracy.

There is no cost to joining the We Are Michigan web team, only a desire to make a difference for the better.
