The Center for Community Change is committed to reducing poverty
and rebuilding low income communities. To do this, we help people
to develop the skills and resources they need to improve their communities
as well as change policies and institutions that adversely affect
their lives. We believe that poor people themselves -- through organizations
they control -- need to lead efforts to eliminate poverty. The Center
for Community Change helps grassroots leaders build strong organizations
that bring people together to become a force for change in their
communities.

This is as comprehensive a environmental action/information site
for students can get. It includes student news features, toolkits
and information essential for campus organizing as well as a place
to sign up for EarthNet, a weekly listserve full of information
about jobs, events, resources and action alerts.
CoMotion
CoMotion is about learning to tackle a problem in your community
through action and mobilization. CoMotion works to build youth activism
by providing training and technical assistance to youth led efforts
on the issue of gun violence across the country. If you want to

This is the site started by Clayton Giles fourteen year old who
started Legal Kids to give children of divorce, like himslef, a
place to interact. Giles' hunger strike -- an effort to have a voice
about his father's custody rights -- has received much media attention.
